Evénement au magasin de comics : Stan Lee vient faire une séance de dédicaces ! Les garçons sont surexcités. Mais Sheldon manque cette occasion unique de rencontrer Stan Lee car il est convoqué au tribunal pour avoir roulé trop vite le soir où il a emmené Penny, avec sa voiture, d'urgence à l'hôpital. En fait, c'est Penny qui l'a dénoncé car elle n'a plus de point sur son permis. Pendant que Leonard, Howard et Raj vont voir Stan Lee, Penny accompagne Sheldon au tribunal.
