Frasier est aux anges et raconte à Niles le fabuleux week-end qu'il vient de passer avec Sam. Mais lorsqu'il la retrouve quelques instants plus tard au restaurant, il la trouve changée. A la fin du repas, Sam lui fait le discours sur l'importance d'être des amis. Frasier comprend vite que leur histoire est terminée.
